Gun Control For Dummies!

We won’t bore you to tears with the bleeding heart stories of violence perpetrated by psychos with firearms or the stories of heroism exhibited by armed Citizens in actually stopping crime by the very fact that they had the good sense to own, carry or have access to a gun. Either argument has ZERO bearing really. The fact is that government could never ban guns and it doesn’t require years of studying the Constitutional to render a verdict on this subject. The FACT of the matter is that the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution states quite clearly that “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Nothing illustrate the battle between the good forces of individual liberty and the destructive forces of Government than the ongoing battle over the meaning of those 27 words. Most people understand the natural existence of the right to bear arms and the clearly documented history that led to its enshrinement in the Bill of Rights. You think they knew a little something back then? But those who distrust individual freedoms in favor of an all-powerful government are horrified by the idea that one person can possess enough power to lawfully resist, with force, unacceptable intrusions into his or her life. Would you rather have a cell phone to call 911 for cleanup after the fact or have law abiding citizens to be able to have the tools to defend themselves, their family and yes, even you? Governments idea is to make more laws. That’s a great idea! Let’s pass more laws for gun control so the psycho bastards can ignore them just as they do with all the other laws. It makes no sense. Can you name one gun law that the bad guys have ever obeyed? Anyone? Nothing? Thought so. So current gun bans don’t work so we should just go ahead and add some more gun bans. Even when we all know, based on past history, they don’t work? I’m sure our Government can impress us with their ingenious new methods to control guns. Have we learned nothing from our past experiences? Gun bans never work. They never have worked. Just ask Germany. How would you like to live in a country….

How would you like to live in a country that tortures prisoners? That conducts warrantless searches of its citizens and has Immunity from judicial review? That reads your residents’ e-mail and monitors their phone conversations? That executes its own citizens without trial? That murders innocent people in foreign countries on a regular basis? Whose government manipulates courts and other legal processes to ensure that banking, Wall Street, and government criminals are never held to account, while its citizens are punished for “brutal” crimes like “burnt out license plate lights” or “driving without a seat belt”? Oh wait… you already do live in that country. We don’t like writing about this subject. We are all Americans. But we are appalled at what our country has become and we refuse to keep “going along to get along”. And as we have often expressed, we are utterly frustrated both by the bipartisan nature of this assault on our liberty, as well as by the ways in which the media obscures this fact via its constant focus on the Republican vs. Democrat crap they ram down our throats. This party affiliation has only divided us. With all that has happened do we actually believe either one of these parties has our backs? Dishonesty and tyranny from government is nothing new for Americans. The real question is whether we are going to continue lying to ourselves about it. And although we are deeply suspect of the opinions foreigners and of global bureaucrats, we have to agree with them … America has lost its bearings and must be held to account. Are you awake yet?

Are you awake yet? We say that a lot in my postings. First, you have to be awaken. To be awaken, you must be willing to see what you don’t want to accept … and willing to make moves that others will call crazy. Remember: It’s never those who stay behind that survive. It’s those who act to get out of the way of an unpleasant future that live to tell the stories of how it all fell apart. Those in the government have complete power and authority over you, your life, you family, your loved ones, your rights, your freedom, your future, and everything precious to life. If you don’t believe me, try going fishing without a license. See what happens. Try driving a car without get a driver’s license. I could go on but you get the idea. Every aspect of the 350 million people in America are controlled by a select few. Government is suppose to have “limited and delegated authority” afforded to them by the people? Do you think that is how it’s works now? Everything government does is under threat and at the barrel of a gun. Government support is compulsory. People doing business as governments are incapable or unwilling to provide their services to the market on a voluntary basis like normal people so they use guns and threats to make you comply. The level of dishonesty with these “people” knows no bounds. We see it almost daily. We know about the many scandals just our current government has been involved in and yet we still do nothing. Maybe you don’t care to do anything. That is fine. However, one day you will have to look your children in the eye and explain to them why you did nothing to stop this government. Your children, just because they were born in America, will become slaves to the same system you are a slave to now. Only it will be a lot worse for them. Are you awake Yet?
