Are We Close To A Dictatorship In America?
Every time a president declares a “national emergency” in order to get his way on a particular issue, the closer we are to a dictatorship. Who needs Congress or the people if the president can make the decision on issues by himself? This is a very dangerous precedent.
One thing that all Americans want to believe is that it can’t happen here. But it can happen anywhere. It may be happening right now.
When a president can just do what he wants and pass national emergency orders at will, we may not be that far off.
But it really couldn’t happen here, could it?
