The United States needs to stay out of Venezuela
The United States has a disastrous history of military intervention and regime change around the world which has brought suffering to millions of people. It’s bankrupted our country and it’s undermined our national security. We must end this policy now before we get into yet another military conflict… this time in Venezuela.
Now President Trump and his administration of already instituted heavy sanctions on Venezuela. They’ve doubled down on their position that all options are on the table. The Venezuelan people are trying to fight for a free and fair democracy, but the United States should not be in the business of intervening of picking who should lead their country and we certainly should not be threatening military action.
Venezuela poses no threat to the United States Congress has not authorized the United States to go to war in Venezuela. And there’s no justification for our country to violate the sovereignty of the Venezuelan people. Now, the reality is that threats of US military action and regime change in Venezuela are undermining ongoing efforts to convince North Korea to give up their nuclear weapons program.
Which exists because Kim Jong on sees it as the only deterrent against U.S. LED regime change now President Trump is promising North Korea. We will not wage regime change war against them. But at the same time is simultaneously threatening regime change in Venezuela North. Korea is going to look at President Trump’s actions.
The United States needs to stay out of Venezuela and let the Venezuelan people determine their own future.
Are you awake yet?
This country was formed by great men, true Patriots who literally risked everything. With wisdom learned from their forefather’s mistakes as well as their own they formed a plan whereby those of us that came after would never have to take the same risk as long as we remained vigilant. Sadly, we have not held up those standards set by our forefathers.
Instead, Patriots are ridiculed for railing against the government, but that is how America came to be a nation. A Patriot does not fight with government simply because he or she does not agree with government, but do so because a Patriot sees the long range harm and danger in “letting things ride” that are created outside of government authority.
We’re slowly realizing that a world has been pulled over our eyes to blind us from the Truth, and more importantly we’re realizing that we are free to create a new world, a better world.
As Margaret Mead once said… Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
Remember, there is nothing more powerful than the truth!
