Why Are Police Officers Killing People They Are Sworn To Protect?
When cops’ first instinct is to use force, we shouldn’t be surprised that people will die. we see it almost daily these days. Police seem to be getting more aggressive. But where is their duty to protect. Berkeley students and Berkeley residents began a peaceful march from Sproul Plaza to the Berkeley Marina to protest the deaths of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, and countless other brown and black youth at the hands of police. This is what they were met with… These people are helpless as police officers advanced on them. As you will soon see... read more

We have to pass it, so we can find out what’s in it.
If we can all just stop & think for a moment about the importance of what Pelosi said… …congress purposely wrote the bill in such a way that the lies contained therein were so obscured the budget office could not see them… …and passed the bill without reading it themselves… …knowing full well the damage their lies would cause to individuals the economy, and the jobs situation that would transpire if they passed it… …then have the boldness to openly state the obvious that anyone who had a hand in voting this monstrosity into lay was stupid. The... read more

Video Shows Police Sadistically Tasering Non-Combative Inmates
This video clearly show police officers tasering non-combative inmates. But, instead of investigating the officers for their disgusting actions, police are investigating how the video got released. This is a disturbing video from a holding cell surveillance camera showing 2 police officers essentially torturing inmates. The different video clips range from July of 2010 to October of 2010. The clips all present the same scenario, two cops walk up to the cell, open the door and taser the non-violent, non-combative, and otherwise completely peaceful inmates. It is truly disgusting. Is this how our public servants server and protect.... read more

Is The Federal Reserve A Ponzi Scheme?
Treasury Issues $1T in New Debt in 8 Weeks—To Pay Old Debt The Daily Treasury Statement that was released Wednesday afternoon as Americans were preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving revealed that the U.S. Treasury has been forced to issue $1,040,965,000,000 in new debt since fiscal 2015 started just eight weeks ago in order to raise the money to pay off Treasury securities that were maturing and to cover new deficit spending by the government. During those eight weeks, Treasury took in $341,591,000,000 in revenues. That was a record for the period between Oct. 1 and Nov. 25. But that... read more

Give an Inch and They’ll Take a Mile
Ever wonder why you pay so much in taxes? Because once you give politicians an inch—it’s only a matter of time before they’ll take a mile. You’ll recall that when the federal income tax was introduced in the US in 1913, those making up to $20,000 (equivalent to around $475,000 today) were only taxed at 1% — that’s ONE PERCENT. The top bracket kicked in at $500,000 (equivalent to around $12 million today), and the tax rate for it was only 7%. Of course, once the principle was conceded in 1913, the politicians naturally couldn’t resist ramping it... read more

Police Stop Man for Walking with Hands in Pockets
The footage below shows a police officer in Pontiac, Mich., stopping a man for apparently suspicious behavior. What was the man doing? Walking with his hands in his pockets. This is yet another reminder of what goes on between authority figures and the pubic. There is no evidence that McKean did anything wrong. However, the officer explains: “You’re making people nervous.” When McKean wonders what he’s done, the officer replies: “Yeah, they said you had your hands in your pockets.” In the U.S., this type of questioning, universally known as a Terry stop, requires an officer to have... read more

The world is coming to an End!
“Love is the most powerful weapon on the face of the earth. Robert Kennedy once said that few will have the greatness to be in history, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events … So yes, the world is coming to an end, and the path towards a new beginning starts, within you.” Despite the recent deluge of tragic news in places ranging from Gaza to Ferguson, this man’s powerful message will remind you that there is hope. In a video uploaded to YouTube, rapper Richard Williams, aka Prince Ea, gives us... read more

Jury Nullification: What You Need to Know
Jury Nullification: The Top Secret Constitutional Right Did you know that the trial jury was intended by America’s Founders to be a political institution? Did you know that jurors under our system of justice have the responsibility to protect our rights from infringement by the government? Did you know that jurors can judge the fairness or constitutionality of the law itself? Did you know that judges, prosecutors, and many lawyers don’t want you to know the truth about your power as a juror? When the jury or even you, a single conscientious juror, decide that the law itself... read more

Criminalization does nothing to solve homelessness
It seems that for almost every social problem that pops up, we turn to the criminal justice system. Suffering from mental illness? Here’s a cell. Struggling with drug dependency? Let’s throw you in handcuffs. Sleeping on the street? Here’s an arrest record. And if you are a person of color, the criminal justice crackdown can be even worse. How could it possibly make sense to saddle police officers and prison wardens with sole responsibility for helping people get a roof over their head? Or to task lawyers and judges with treating mental illness or helping people get sober?... read more

It’s Wrong. It’s Corrupt. And It’s Been Happening For *Far* Too Long.
Actor Jason Alexander makes a strong point in this 30-second video: All citizens should keep this in mind every time they hear a political ad paid for by a special interest PAC. “Do you know what ‘Paid for by…’ really means? It means a billion dollars in the last election. Our government is filled with people who have been paid for, but no one should have more influence than you.” And politicians may pretend it doesn’t make them beholden to their donors, but… “Even if it’s in the back of their mind, you can’t tell me that if... read more

Wrongfully arrested? Do you agree police go to far?
Christopher Moore was riding down the highway with other bikers when police officer Westbrook hit his sirens and pulled him over. Moore wanted to know why he’d been stopped. “The reason you’re being pulled over is because I’m going to take your camera, and we’re going to use it as evidence in the crimes that have been committed by other bikers,” Westbrook told him. Moore, who said he wasn’t with the other bikers, responded: What crimes? Eventually Westbrook came up with one, accusing Moore of having a partially obscured license plate. “That was indeed a strange charge for... read more

America Is A Nation of Laws, Not a Nation of Men
“A nation of laws” means that laws, not people, rule. Everyone is to be governed, regardless of their position; whether it is the most common American or Members of Congress, high-ranking bureaucrats or the President of the United States; all must be held to the just laws of America. No one is, or can be allowed to be, above the law. Ok, I will pause here while you quit laughing…. Feel better? This idea was paramount in the complex process of establishing the United States of America, whose brave leaders had put everything on the line to escape... read more

America Lost This Midterm Election
Ready to pop the bubbly and watch your portfolio soar now that the GOP’s back in power? Better put that bottle back on ice and think again. At best … it’s two more years of gridlock in Washington with the markets staying stagnant. At worst it’s more debate over debt ceilings, budget cuts and the U.S. credit rating taking another hit. Neither of which means any more money in your pocket … and probably even less. After months of somewhat desultory media coverage, Americans awoke to find that Republicans have swept to control of the U.S. Congress with... read more

Two pastors and a 90-year-old man were arrested for feeding the homeless.
Two pastors and a 90-year-old man were arrested for feeding the homeless. This is the country we live in folks. Your silence and compliance to their tyranny only gives them more power. They can pass any law they want and you have no say. Feeling any more free? These “cops” are pitiful. They should remember that they protect and serve, not “blindly” enforce made up laws. “If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so. “~ Thomas Jefferson Why aren’t you mad? Are you awake Yet? Stay... read more
