Are you actually contributing to society or are you just paying the bills?
Sometimes we have to ask some important (and sometimes uncomfortable) questions about what our purpose is as a society, and as an individual. Aren’t we supposed to be contributing? Is contributing the same as working? Are these two things separate? Are you stuck in a job you hate? Then why not follow your dreams instead.
We get sidetracked and diverted into these boxes that they call companies and corporations. And we got stuffed into these containers like cubicles in offices. So instead of investing our time in a passion, we’ve sold our life to sit in box to work as slaves for an uncaring machine that doesn’t care or understand us. That’s the problem with our society. And what’s the reward? We get to drive home in a car we can barely afford to watch a big screen TV that we bought using a credit card because we did not have the cash to buy it outright.
