Do we live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots?

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If an 80-year-old woman who is confined to a wheelchair or a three-year-old girl can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. Read This Before the Governemnt and Media Uses a Drowned Refugee Boy to Start Another War

You’ve seen the pictures floating around Facebook. A picture of a 3 year boy washed up on the shore, face down in the mud. His family, refugees from Syria’s civil war, had tried to reach Greece, but their over-crowded raft overturned in the Mediterranean Sea and he drowned along with his brother and mother. The viral image of 3-year-old Aylan Kurdi’s lifeless little body on a Turkish beach has shaken the conscience of the West and wrenched America’s attention to the refugee crisis now rocking Europe. Newsflash to the oblivious citizenry of the power-projecting “free world”: this is what war looks like. This times ten million. That which is mere “foreign policy” to you and your government is desperation and death to those on the receiving end of it. Children just as innocent and precious as Aylan are being driven into the sea in Libya, incinerated by drone in Pakistan, or starved to death in Yemen all the time, and it is all on your dime. And every single instance creates a sight just as achingly and horrifically tragic as the one above, even if it isn’t photographed and seen by millions. Aylan drowned in the arms of his father, who had been desperately trying to keep his head above water. The prelude to the disaster probably looked something like this photo of another Syrian refugee family. It actually shows an arrival and not a departure. Still, especially for anyone with young children, the picture is a punch in the gut. It only takes a shred of empathy to instantly imagine how the father must feel. Overwhelmed and near the end of his rope. His daughter’s arms wrapped around his neck. His son’s face buried in his chest. Both looking to him for protection and provision he ultimately might not be able to give. It is no wonder these photographs have also gone viral. Another newsflash: this is what war displacement looks like, both in the sea and on dry land. What you see in his face is the anguish felt right this very moment by the many millions of mothers and fathers driven from their homes and sources of livelihood throughout the countries shattered by weapons from the West: Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Palestine, Ukraine, and yes.. the United States. It is a shame that the curiosity, empathy, and imagination of most are so stunted that they require such vivid imagery as this showing up in... read more

Why Do We Blame The Guns? It’s Time For A Reality Check

A Different Kind of Reality Check… Dr. Ignatius Piazza >> A Different Kind of Reality Check… After 15 Years, Mainstream Media is Finally Catching Up to Me… 15 years ago, I asked a very pointed question in a press release sent to the National Wire Service immediately following the killings at Columbine High School. A few days after the Virginia Tech Massacre, I again asked the same very direct question. After the Newton Connecticut massacre, I once again asked the very same pointed question… After all the latest mass shootings, I don’t have to ask the question anymore because the mainstream media has finally listened to me and are asking the same question, “How many more mass shootings must we experience before we wake up, study the research and adopt policies which actually reduce crime and begin saving American lives instead of leaving them helpless victims when the next psych drug user snaps?” See this main stream news video, that gets it right, although 15 years after I did… After Columbine, while most journalists and lawmakers focused on whether or not my answer to protecting children by arming teachers was the right solution, it seems everyone missed my understanding of the root cause that drove these kids to commit such atrocities! The root cause was and continues to be the psych drugs that are being pushed on our children! In some cases children as young as kindergarten age! After Columbine, nobody wanted to believe the founder and director of the nation’s largest firearms training institute when he pointed his finger at psych drugs as the cause of the problem. During numerous radio, TV and newspaper interviews I would bring it up and it would fall on deaf ears with no reaction at all. So I spent $300,000 to create a Hollywood produced, award winning DVD entitled Front Sight Story, Chapter One: Your Legacy. In “Your Legacy,” I interviewed people of age who actually experienced an America when guns were so freely available to children and youth, that you could order them through the mail with no ID required, no waiting period, and literally carry them to school to place in the back of the classroom with no problems at all. During this time, when guns were the most accessible in our country’s entire history, there were no school shootings, drive by shootings, or murderous teenage rampages. What changed? Here is what changed: Powerful psych drugs were developed and became... read more

Will you STAND for liberty, or will you be silent?

“So you’re a Constitutionalist?” My first thought was… As compared to what? Last month, the Feinman family was driving through a questionable interstate checkpoint. This checkpoint is not on the US/Mexican border; it is along Highway 395N between California and Nevada. When driving through these in-country checkpoints, you are not required to answer the agent’s questions (usually starting with “Are you a United States citizen?”). Nor are you required to consent to any searches. As the Feinman’s drove through, they refused to be unlawfully searched, citing their 4th Amendment right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures. The agents, however, could have cared less about the Feinman’s rights, stating at one point that “this is my job.” When the family refuses to back down, government force is escalated, and police officers are called in to violate the Feinmans even further. As Mr. Feinman asserts his rights, he is threatened with being pulled out of the vehicle and having his children taken from him by CPS. Mr. Feinman says he’d like to go, but these officers are determined to extort money from him (issue a citation) for flexing his rights. When he asks the cops if they swore an oath to defend the constitution, the cop asks, “So you’re a Constitutionalist?” When Feinman confirms that he is a constitutionalist, the officer responds, “We’ve had problems with this before.” At around the 13-minute mark, Feinman is issued an ultimatum, submit or have your window broken and we kidnap your entire family. During the process, these officers acted as if it were Feinman’s fault when all he was doing was refusing an illegal search. Police acted as if some magical force compelled them to have to break the window and drag a family out of their vehicle. However, the fact of the matter is, they could have just let them travel freely. Eventually, the window is smashed out, and all occupants were arrested, and the child was taken by CPS. According to the Feinman’s, they were then given an excessive bail amount to get out of jail. This entire incident was over Mr. Feinman not wanting to be searched at the checkpoint. Referring to an illegal search as an “inspection” does not change the reality of the act. What this video below highlights is the only tool the state has to force you to comply with their revenue generating and rights-violating police state measures... read more
